Teacher Accused of Forcing Wife to Resemble Bollywood Actress
Police in Ghaziabad are investigating a complaint filed by a woman who claimed her husband pressured her to look like Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi.
According to local reports, the woman, identified as Shanvi, alleged that her husband, Shivam Ajuwal, a government-employed physical education teacher, began making such demands soon after their marriage on 6 March 2025.
She told authorities that her husband had become obsessed with the appearance of the renowned actress and allegedly forced her to adopt a similar look.

Shanvi said he compelled her to spend up to three hours at the gym each day and withheld meals whenever she failed to meet his expectations.
The woman further alleged that her in-laws regularly mocked her appearance, adding to her distress. She claimed her husband often remarked that he could have married someone who resembled the actress.
Seeking legal support, Shanvi has approached the police for protection and action against her husband. Officials have confirmed receiving the complaint and said further investigation is underway.
