Indian Film Song Draws Comparison With Pakistani Drama Hit

A newly released song from an upcoming Indian film has sparked online debate after social media users alleged similarities with a popular Pakistani TV track.

The song, titled Danger, is part of the Bollywood film Param Sundari, which is scheduled to hit cinemas on 29 August 2025. The romantic drama follows the story of a young man from northern India and a woman from the south.

The track features performances by actors Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra. But soon after its release, many users claimed the tune and style closely resemble Laal Suit, the hit song from Geo TV’s popular drama serial Mannat Murad.

Laal Suit became well known for its wedding-themed setting and vibrant choreography, showcasing stars such as Iqra Aziz, Talha Chahour and Rabya Kulsoom. Several viewers argued that the Pakistani track was more engaging, with some suggesting it carried stronger cultural elements.

Posts on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and other platforms compared the two compositions, with many accusing the Indian filmmakers of copying or being heavily inspired by the Pakistani number. Others simply described the likeness as a coincidence.
