Pakistan Plans One-Stop Super App for Public Services
The government of Pakistan is preparing to roll out a National Super App and Web Portal under its Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP), with the aim of offering centralised digital access to a wide range of public services.
Officials say the new platform will bring together services from various federal ministries and provincial departments, making it easier for citizens and businesses to access them through a single digital interface. The initiative is designed to break down inter-departmental barriers and improve efficiency, transparency, and public satisfaction.
A qualified consultancy firm will be hired to develop and implement the system using a modular, proven Super App model. The application will work with Pakistan’s digital ID and data-sharing systems and will be hosted on a government-managed cloud platform. Authorities say the development process will follow World Bank procurement rules and global standards to maintain transparency and quality.

Among the key goals are round-the-clock access, availability in multiple languages, and a single sign-on system connected to national ID credentials. Personalised user dashboards, faster processing times, and cost savings are also central to the plan.
Security is a priority, with the Super App expected to use biometric verification and comply with the upcoming Personal Data Protection Bill as well as international data privacy regulations like GDPR.
Although the app will initially be free, it will be built to allow future monetisation through advertising, premium features, and subscription options, supporting long-term sustainability and third-party integrations.
