ACC Issues Fraud Warning Over Asia Cup Tickets

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has warned cricket supporters to be wary of fraudulent ticket sales for the highly anticipated India–Pakistan clash at the Asia Cup 2025.

The governing body clarified that official tickets have not yet been released and urged fans to avoid unauthorised resellers. It said any tickets currently being offered online were fake and would not provide entry to the stadium.

The ACC, along with the Emirates Cricket Board, is expected to announce official sales shortly.

The warning comes as excitement builds for the September 14 group-stage encounter in Dubai, a fixture many believe could also be repeated in the later stages of the tournament, including the final.

India are due to face UAE in their opening match on September 10, followed by Pakistan four days later, and Oman on September 19.

If India finish top of Group A, all of their Super 4 matches will be staged in Dubai. A second-place finish would see them play two matches in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi, before the final on September 28.

Squad selections have already sparked debate. For India, Rinku Singh and Shivam Dube kept their places, while Shreyas Iyer and teenager Vaibhav Suryavanshi missed out.

Pakistan’s selectors continued to leave out Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, with coach Mike Hesson noting Babar was focusing on improving his game against spin.

Hosts UAE, under coach Lalchand Rajput, are preparing to test themselves against both India and Pakistan.
