Explosions Trigger Major Fire in Karachi Warehouse
A massive fire broke out at a fireworks warehouse on MA Jinnah Road in Karachi on Thursday, following a series of loud blasts that startled residents and passersby. At least 24 people were reported injured in the incident.
Police officials said most of the victims suffered injuries from shattered glass after the explosions shook surrounding buildings. Rescue teams quickly moved the injured to nearby hospitals, where emergency services were placed on high alert.
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation confirmed that five fire engines and a snorkel were sent to the site as firefighters struggled to control the flames. Heavy smoke could be seen rising across the city skyline.

Authorities said the exact cause of the fire had yet to be determined. Police and rescue officials cordoned off the area, warning people to stay away to avoid further injuries.
Eyewitnesses described hearing multiple explosions before the fire spread rapidly inside the warehouse. They added that panic gripped the area as shopkeepers and residents rushed to safety.
