Gold Prices Dip in Pakistan After Two-Day Rise
Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Tuesday, ending a two-day upward trend in both domestic and international markets.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,500 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs358,000. The price for 10 grams also fell by Rs1,286, settling at Rs306,927.
This decline follows two sessions of price increases, suggesting a correction in the local market. On the international front, the price of gold per ounce also dipped slightly—by $15—to $3,353, reflecting modest adjustments after recent gains.

In contrast to gold, silver prices saw an increase. The cost of 24-karat silver rose to Rs3,971 per tola, while 10 grams were priced at Rs3,404, indicating a different trend for precious metals in the market.
