Huawei has begun rolling out its latest August 2025 firmware updates for several devices, including the Mate 50 Pro, Watch Fit 4 Pro, and Watch D2, in the global market. Users who have not yet received the update are advised to wait, as the release is being distributed gradually.

The Mate 50 Pro is receiving the July 2025 security patch, which enhances overall system security. The update carries the EMUI version 14.2.0.176.

Huawei’s wearables are also getting updated. The Watch Fit 4 Pro is now receiving the latest firmware via HarmonyOS 5.1.0.121, while the Watch D2 is being upgraded to version 5.1.0.20.

These updates focus on improving system performance and stability. Huawei said that the firmware aims to offer a smoother and more reliable user experience.

This rollout follows the July patch released for other flagship devices, including the P60 Pro, Mate X3, Pura 70 series, and Mate X6.

The new software versions also mark the expansion of HarmonyOS 5.1 to global wearables, which had previously reached devices like the Watch GT 5 Pro and Watch D2. More wearables are expected to get the upgrade soon.

To manually check for updates, smartphone users can go to Settings > System and Updates > Software Updates. Meanwhile, smartwatch users are advised to use the Huawei Health app and follow the update path under their selected device.
