Malayalam Actor Navas Found Dead in Kerala Hotel

Renowned Indian Malayalam actor and comedian Kalabhavan Navas was found dead in a hotel room in Kerala, according to Indian media reports.

Navas was staying at the hotel for the shooting of his upcoming film “Prakambanam.” On the day he was supposed to check out, hotel staff became concerned when he did not emerge from his room for an extended period. Upon entering, they found him unconscious.

He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed his death.

Local police stated that no signs of foul play were found, and initial assessments suggest he may have died of a heart attack. However, authorities added that the final cause of death would only be confirmed after the post-mortem report.

Kalabhavan Navas began his film career in 1995 with “Chaitanyam” and went on to deliver memorable performances in popular Malayalam films such as “Mattupetti Machan,” “Junior Mandrake,” and “Amma Ammay Amma.”

News of his sudden demise quickly spread across social media, with fans and prominent figures in the showbiz industry expressing deep sorrow and condolences.

Many fellow artists paid tribute, describing him as “the ever-smiling flame of the stage that has suddenly gone out.”
