The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a slight increase in Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices for August 2025, following policy guidelines from the federal government. The adjustment, effective from August 1, reflects a minor rise in Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) prices.

According to notification, for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), transmission prices have risen from $10.8338 per MMBtu in July to $10.9770 in August, while distribution prices increased from $11.5787 to $11.7330 per MMBtu. This marks a 1.32% and 1.33% increase, respectively.
For Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL), transmission prices have gone up from $9.4713 to $9.6097 per MMBtu, and distribution prices from $10.5737 to $10.7285 per MMBtu, each reflecting a 1.46% hike.
Reason for the increase
