In its statement, the PCB said it had ensured that Haider received legal assistance to safeguard his rights. The board also acknowledged the importance of respecting British legal processes and allowing the investigation to proceed without interference.
The PCB said the suspension would remain in effect until the investigation is complete. Once legal proceedings are concluded and the facts established, the board will determine whether further action is required under its Code of Conduct.
