Separately, the Prime Minister expressed immense satisfaction over the impeccable and well-coordinated security arrangements made by the federal and provincial governments during the holy month of Moharram.

He praised the collective efforts of the Federal Minister for Interior, Provincial Chief Ministers, the Prime Minister of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, the administrative and police forces, and the intelligence agencies for maintaining peace and public order. He noted that these efforts were particularly commendable at a time when Indian intelligence agencies were attempting to sow discord in Pakistan following India’s internationally acknowledged defeat in war.

The Prime Minister also appreciated the role of the Ullema in maintaining sectarian harmony and emphasised that the peace observed during Moharram reflected the true unity and brotherhood of the Pakistani nation.
