Tamannaah Clears the Air on Rumours Linking Her to Razzaq

Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia has finally addressed long-standing speculation about her alleged relationships with cricket stars Virat Kohli and Abdul Razzaq.

In a recent interview with Indian media, the actress clarified that the rumours had no truth. Reflecting on an old claim linking her to Kohli, Bhatia recalled working with him on a single advertisement shoot back in 2010. A photograph from that shoot went viral at the time, triggering speculation of a romantic link between the two.

She reportedly said it had felt unfair as they had met only once for the shoot, and there had been no interaction afterward. Despite the baselessness of the gossip, the story lingered online for years.

The actress also spoke about another rumour that surfaced in 2020, which bizarrely suggested she had secretly married former Pakistani all-rounder Abdul Razzaq. The claims stemmed from a photograph taken during a jewellery store event that both happened to attend.

Commenting on the matter, she is said to have joked about how amusing the internet can be. She also expressed disbelief over the marriage claim and added a light-hearted apology to Razzaq, noting that he already had children and that the rumour made little sense.

Bhatia concluded by acknowledging that public figures are often targeted by such stories. She said people tend to create narratives even when there’s no truth behind them, and celebrities must learn to live with it without trying to justify themselves every time.
