Telecom Firm Faces Suspension After Repeated Warnings
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has suspended the license of Xtreme Solutions (Private) Limited for one month, citing violations of financial and regulatory obligations.
PTA officials said the decision followed the company’s failure to submit annual audited accounts and pay its license fee despite several reminders. The suspension was imposed under Section 23 of the Pakistan Telecommunication (Reorganization) Act, 1996.
Xtreme Solutions, licensed in November 2010 to operate Data Class Value Added Services, was required to share audited accounts and clear dues for the fiscal year ending June 2022. The company was first reminded in October 2022 and received several follow-up notices until January 2025, but did not respond.

On January 4, 2024, PTA served a show-cause notice, allowing seven days to comply and 30 days to respond. A hearing was planned for May 2024; however, the notice was undelivered, and the company failed to appear or provide an updated contact address.

Officials said a final deadline of January 31, 2025, was also missed. A review by PTA’s four-member committee found that the company had violated licensing conditions, prompting regulatory action.
The suspension will stay in place for one month, and restoration will depend on the company settling its dues and filing all required reports. PTA warned that if compliance is not achieved, the license will be revoked permanently.
The regulator has also instructed all service providers, including LDI, LL, TIP, and mobile operators, to discontinue services to Xtreme Solutions until further notice.
